A unique service from Why Kitai: ready-made, detailed itineraries across China for those who prefer to travel independently, efficiently, and affordably.
Perfect for those who’ve long wanted to visit China but don’t like organized tours. Simply choose one of our proven itineraries that suits your needs in terms of duration, cost, and attractions, pay, receive all the information by email within 1-2 days, carefully read and follow the instructions, and travel completely independently, without a guide, without spending weeks preparing, or worrying about what to choose and how to squeeze in the unsqueezable.
The fundamental difference between this service and a custom itinerary is that here you take a ready-made product and tailor your travel dates to it.
To make the service accessible to everyone, we’ve broken it down into sections: a core section and optional additional sections. The cost of a ready-made itinerary ranges from 50-150 Euros, depending on the duration.
What you get for your money:
1.) A detailed map
You’ll receive a link to a Google Maps map of your route with all the landmarks, train stations, hotels, and our notes, which you can save to your computer or smartphone. Additionally, we’ll send you a file for offline MAPS.ME, in which the waypoints will accurately correspond to the coordinates in China! (If you drag and drop the waypoints manually, the waypoints will shift by several hundred meters.) Detailed instructions are included.

A map is a great addition for visual people. Directions and distances between points are immediately clear. It’s convenient to refer to it when something in the description is confusing.

2.) A detailed plan
A schedule for the entire trip in a Google Docs spreadsheet: daily and sometimes even hourly. In addition to descriptions of attractions and directions to them, the spreadsheet will include all necessary phrases and names in Chinese, as well as addresses and phone numbers.
*Be sure to print the spreadsheet in advance, as many websites in China don’t work well, and internet access isn’t always available. It’s easier to have it with you, so you can show the Chinese people the name of a particular place, dish, hotel, etc. that interests you.
A couple of days from the spreadsheet are an example.
3.) Accommodation recommendations
We will tell which areas to look in, ideally, so it works best with the plan. The hotels you choose and book by yourselves.
4.) Transport options
Options for night train, speed train or flights to chose from according to your own budget and what’s available during your dates. You book the transport yourself.
